Thorpe Park Resort is the ultimate for a thrillseeking day out in 2025. Whether you're on your own, with friends or have brought the family, the theme park has a whole host of scary (check out Hyperia and Stealth) and not so scary rides (like the Bumper Cars and Amity Beach).
Various tickets are available including passes, fast track add ons, student discount and VIP packages. But by far the best way to make the most of a visit, is to stay overnight on a Thorpe Park break, staying at either the THORPE Shark Cabins within the resort, or at a 3-star or 4-star hotel within the area like the Holiday Inn Shepperton or the De Vere Beaumont Estate in Windsor.
With 26 Thorpe Park rides and attractions on offer, you've got plenty to choose from and can make sure everyone, even the little ones have plenty of fun.
For the grown up thrillseekers, rides like Nemesis, Stealth, SAW - The Ride, and Colossus are classic coasters that will definitely scare you. But the latest addition is Hyperia, the UK's fastest and tallest roller coaster, travelling at a whopping 81mph and reaching a height of 71m!
Other excellent rides to try out for those intense thrills include Ghost Train (with live actors), Samurai (with G forces up to 5G), The Walking Dead: The Ride, and THE SWARM.
If you prefer just a little bit of scary, try out rides like Depth Charge as you race down a super slide against friends and family, Rumba Rapids (although you might get a little wet), and Sunset Cinema, a 4D cinema experience that taps into almost all your senses!
Families with youngsters don't miss out here either. While there is a playground on site, Amity Beach is the perfect place to chill out in the summer (or enjoy a splash around), Mr Monkey's Banana Ride, and Flying Fish which is the perfect first roller coaster for those over 90cm.
